Originally developed to use the Multi-Configuration Time-Dependent Hartree (MCTDH) method for solving the Time-Dependent Schrödinger Equation (TDSE), Quantics has evolved into a versatile platform. It now encompasses a wide array of powerful techniques derived from MCTDH capable of simulating and analysing quantum dynamics.
The Heidelberg MCTDH package is still available on request. More information on this can be found on the website
Visit Graham Worth’s website for many more recordings of presentations on various topics involving quantum dynamics and Quantics implementation (under the group information tab)
The Theory behind Quantics
A more in depth look at the theory behind some of the methods implemented in Quantics can be found in these notes by Prof. Hans-Dieter Meyer.
